Mellitah Oil and Gas B.V. has developed plans to replace the existing Floating Storage Offloading (FSO) “SLOUG” with a new built vessel at its offshore field Bouri (located in the concession Block ex-NC41), within the existing GAZA Project. The field is located 120 km offshore North-West of Tripoli, Libya, and consists of a central processing platform DP4 and a satellite platform DP3 in water depths ranging from 175 m and 190 m.
STX Offshore & Shipbuilding has been awarded a contract to provide Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Installation and Commissioning (EPCIC) of the new offshore facilities.
